Six sewing machines were donated to needy women for their own business ventures, giving each woman a chance to earn her own income. This life skill enable these women to have an opportunity to generate real income that will sustain them and they’re family, in turn pave a way out of poverty.
“Elevate the conditions of a woman and you elevate the status of that community”.The six sewing machines were donated by AH, who pays the costs for students to receive Sewing Skills training to gain employment in the garment industry . Each graduate is given a two-year contract to work in a clothing factory after graduation. They supply the garment industry with their finished products to earn a salary. We maintain the schools and pay the salary for teachers and for all items needed for the training. Samples of their final products will be sent to us in the USA and these will be displayed and offered to you so that proceeds can be used to train many more sewing students to gain employment. Help us sustain these job skills projects.
