Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda

Amaana Hands, Inc. began collecting funds for relief efforts in the aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan/Yolanda. Responding to a quickly rising death toll and catastrophic destruction, Amaana Hands consulted with local authorities, Muslim Relief Organizations and global partners to assess the situation on the ground and ensure survivors’ immediate needs were addressed. Tailoring Classes

Six sewing machines were donated to needy women for their own business ventures, giving each woman a chance to earn her own income. This life skill enable these women to have an opportunity to generate real income that will sustain them and they’re family, in turn pave a way out of poverty.
